We feel as if we’ve just stepped into a dream of dusty pink roses, dripping orchids and an array of colorful hand-painted anthuriums! This modern elopement in Santorini planned by Julia and Evita is simply gorgeous from start to finish. Anna Roussos captured all the beautiful details and smile-filled tender moments between Olympic medal winner, Werner Kok and his beautiful bride, Zanyika. We are absolutely in love with every romantic yet modern detail of this destination elopement and can feel the couple’s love radiating through the photos. Take a peek below!

Julia and Evita wanted to create something seriously pretty but at the same time very personalized to the couple by using elements that characterize their love.

That’s when the florist and planner had an idea to implement an old unoccupied bird nest in the decoration of the couple’s copper arch along with a fine combination of muhly grass, moss, and fresh flowers. The bird nest is a symbol of the home, a nod to how the couple strives to make their home a place where family members grow and prosper. It is considered a good luck symbol and represents all the love and warmth, enthusiasm and commitment required in creating the happiest of lives together.
